Born in London, Jamie first began his dance training at the Belexly Centre of Music and Dance in Kent. In 2002, he was awarded a full scholarship to train professionally at London Studio Centre and graduated in 2006. Following graduation, he dance for Scottish Ballet on their UK tour of Ashley Pages’ Cinderella and for the Israel Ballets 50th anniversary tour in Giselle.
In 2007 he was invited to join The Sarasota Ballet, Florida, U.S.A as a member of the corps de ballet. During his time at Sarasota Ballet he danced in many lead roles in ballets by Sir Frederick Ashthon including A Wedding Bouquet, Birthday Offering, Enigma Variations (as Elgar), Façade, Illuminations, Jazz Calendar, The Dream, La Fille mal Gardée, Les Patineurs, Les Rendezvous, Marguerite and Armand, Monotones II, Sinfonietta, The Two Pigeons, Valses nobles et sentimentales, Apparitions and The Walk to The Paradise Garden.
Jamie also has the opportunity to dance in many ballets by George Balanchine including Allegro Brillante, Diamonds, Divertimento No. 15, Donizetti Variations, The Four Temperaments, Prodigal Son, Serenade, Stars and Stripes, Theme and Variations, Who Cares? and the full-length Jewels.

In modern work he has danced in Hand Van Manen Grosse Fugue, Paul Taylors “Company B” and “Airs”, Christopher Bruce’s “Sergeant Early’s Dream”, Robert North’s Troy Game and as The Preacher in Martha Graham’s “Appalachian Spring”.
Jamie has performed in New York City at the Joyce Theatre and New York City Centre as part of the Fall for Dance Festival, at the Kennedy Centre as part of the Dance in America Festival and with the Suzanne Farrell Ballet Company.
